I love Workboxes!

Ok.. So I have been praying and trying to come up with some things that might help our school day run a little more smoothly. After talking with a friend and blog stalking some homeschool moms, I decided to give workboxes a try. Marcus has 12 and Luke has 3. When they finish what is in a box they take the number off the box and put it on their chart. Wow.. some independence. I love them. The kids love them. I can't say enough about how much our day has improved. We have gotten more done and the house isn't destroyed in the process. Everyone can see how much more we have left, so no more "when are we going to be done." As the mom and teacher I love waking up and knowing we can start right away. It only takes about 15 min each night to get them stuffed for the day. I also like not having to constantly look at my IG's all day.

Marcus Birthday X 2

Marcus had his birthday at home. He invited 3 friends to have a Mario Wii night. They all wore their pjs and had a great time.
Greg took Marcus to the GA/CFL game in Memphis for his birthday. This was his first GA game. He was so excited and loved spending the day with Dad.

Happy Birthday Marcus!

Happy Birthday Marcus! I can't believe my sweet boy is 6. This was one of two parties Marcus had. He had to have one with his cousins. He always says, "my cousins are my very best friends."

Christmas with Grammy!

Christmas with Grammy is always a sweet time for us. We love getting to spend time with her.

Christmas with the Cranks!

We had so much fun with our family in GA. As you can tell in the pic the kids had a great time in the snow. That's if you can see them... that's a lot of camo. Quess what everyone got for Christmas this year.

Oh.. and yes we do our Christmas in our pjs, don't judge!

Christmas

We had such a blessed holiday season. Our family had a new sense of joy over our Savior this year. How amazing that the birth of one little baby boy would fulfill so many prophecies! I stand in awe of our God.
This was a great day. A day to be a thankful homeschool family. We went with a group of homeschoolers to the nursing home. We sang Christmas carols and visited for a while. I hope to do this again next year.

Check out our gingerbread house. I think they ate more than they put on the house. What a fun night.

St. Jude Memphis Marathon

This was a great weekend. What a fun race and great time with friends.
