Poodle Love!

Just finished smocking this poodle dress for Miss to wear on Sunday. I will post pics with her wearing it soon.

Recognize These People?

Do you recognize these people? We recently finished a unit on the human body. The kids loved being traced for this activity. We added organs and funny details for several days. This activity was great for all of us. If only I could line all of my walls with this paper, I could solve our little issue with unwanted crayon on the walls.

Sister's New Coat

I found a free crochet pattern for this jacket and hat, and thought I would give it a try. The pattern was really easy to follow and there was no stitching together at the end.

I think sister really has the model face down. I am not sure her Daddy will approve. So don't look for her on the runway anytime soon.

I love Workboxes!

Ok.. So I have been praying and trying to come up with some things that might help our school day run a little more smoothly. After talking with a friend and blog stalking some homeschool moms, I decided to give workboxes a try. Marcus has 12 and Luke has 3. When they finish what is in a box they take the number off the box and put it on their chart. Wow.. some independence. I love them. The kids love them. I can't say enough about how much our day has improved. We have gotten more done and the house isn't destroyed in the process. Everyone can see how much more we have left, so no more "when are we going to be done." As the mom and teacher I love waking up and knowing we can start right away. It only takes about 15 min each night to get them stuffed for the day. I also like not having to constantly look at my IG's all day.

Marcus Birthday X 2

Marcus had his birthday at home. He invited 3 friends to have a Mario Wii night. They all wore their pjs and had a great time.
Greg took Marcus to the GA/CFL game in Memphis for his birthday. This was his first GA game. He was so excited and loved spending the day with Dad.
